Admissions Process: How to Begin Your Child’s Journey

At The American School in Stockholm, we are committed to an inclusive education where every student receives the support that they need to succeed. We welcome students with a range of learning needs, including those with special educational requirements and disabilities, as well as gifted and talented learners. Our personalized approach ensures that all students could thrive, both academically and personally.​

Please Note

Providing your child's educational history before an offer of placement is made is crucial, allowing our staff to properly assess their educational needs and ensure the right support, plans, and resources are in place. 

Admission is now Open for 2026-2027 Academic Year

We are now accepting applications for the Academic Year 2026/2027. Spaces are limited, so we encourage you to secure your child’s place early.

  • Step 1: Create an enquiry and register for Parent Account.
  • Step 2: The school will notify once the enquiry is approved in order to submit an application.
  • Step 3: Submit an application with required documents and  make Application Fees.
  • Step 4: Application & documents reviewed by Admission Team.
  • Step 5: Family Interviews (both the parents should present).
  • Step 6: Places are offered and will notify both the parents via email.
  • Step 7: Enrollment & Tuition Fees are Paid to confirm place.

 

  • Photos of Student/s and Parents
  • Copies of Passport of the Student/s and both Parents.
  • Proof of Address from Skatteverket.
  • Letter of Employment from both the parents.
  • Copy of the original mark sheet/report of the previous year’s report or the last examination passed at the previous school.
  • Proof of Payment- Application Fees
  • Copy of the Student's Vaccination Card.
  • Medical documents in case of any medical needs like allergies, asthmas.
  • Specialists reports in case of any Special Educational Needs.
  • Applicant’s & Parents Visa (For Diplomats Only)

NB: Due to GDPR, we collect all the copy of documents through Application portal only.
